Freeciv on QPE - Screenshots

Here are some screenshots of my Freeciv QPE client. Keep in mind that it's still in early development, so these are still somewhat tentative; they're not showing what it will look like as much as what it could look like. My priority at the moment is to make it functional, and worry about prettiness later.

Main window -- this is what the client looks like once you are connected. The toolbar is not a "real" toolbar, in that it's only attached to the Map tab, and not the whole window. (It's a hack, really.)
(Forgive the ugly temporary icons)

All orders, along with the Center command, are available on the toolbar.

Of course, everything is still available from a more traditional menu. (Notice how the Orders menu is growing out of control.)

Once toggled, the chat sub-window co-exists with the map. Notice how the messages are also displayed on the status bar -- which doesn't do much good when you've got other windows stacked over. :(

The overview map is a separate (non-modal) window that can be dragged.

City information -- you can't toggle specialists yet, but everything else should be there. (The trade and CMA tabs aren't implemented yet, though.)

City production -- rather mundane stuff.

City units -- after several attempts, I settled on putting all units in a single list. Clicking on one will pop a menu.

City happiness -- the ugliest layout so far. I have yet to figure out a way to display all this information properly. :(

Players tab -- this could use some visual polishing, but I feel I managed to do a good job in adapting this display for the Zaurus.

Intelligence window -- standard stuff.
